What is Ruta 23?
Ruta 23 is the cultural and food-tourism strategy from VisitAtlántico, connecting 22 towns and the Barranquilla District in the department through their craftwork, flavors, and traditions.
Led by Liliana Borrero de Verano, First Lady of Social Development for Atlántico, this initiative has carried craftwork from the region to 19 countries, generated close to a million dollars in sales, and put Atlántico on stages like Maison & Objet Paris and the Premio Internacional Tonantzin in Mexico.

Ruta Gastronómica
18 festivals celebrating traditional flavors, from arepa de huevo (a fried corn cake with a whole egg cooked inside) to sancocho de guandú, a slow-simmered stew of pigeon peas, meat, and root vegetables.
